Family business started in the garage
Since 1969, Møllers Værktøjsfremstilling in Thisted has been owned and run by the Møller family. It all started in the family garage where Carlo Møller produced tool moulds. The jobs grew in number and soon new and better premises had to be acquired. The first choice was Wilhelmsborgvej 1 until the early 1980s, where construction started on the current premises at Fabriksvej 6 in Thisted, which subsequently have been added onto more than once. Carlo’s wife, Ruth Møller, also joined the company and helped out as its bookkeeper.

Proud traditions live on
The company has been carried on by their sons, Jørgen Ulrik and Jens Henrik Møller, who ran the company with approx. 35 employees until 2020, after which Jens Henrik took over ownership of the company. And even though Jens Henrik is the sole owner, Carlo still comes to the factory daily. Jens Henrik’s better half, Anne Marie, helps and is today, among other things, administrative secretary. The couple’s son Andreas will finish his training as an industrial technician in February 2023 and together they will carry on the family business in the old Møller spirit.

Møllers Værktøjsfremstilling has specialised in sub-contracts and full-line deliveries of machine parts primarily for the pharmaceutical and the special industry. Added this time, the company performs a number of service jobs, ad hoc jobs as well as CNC treatment of subjects in all types of metal and plastic materials.
